# Piato — Creative Greek Cuisine (Πιάτο)

> Award-winning creative Greek restaurant on the harbour of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, overlooking Lake Voulismeni. Ministry-of-Development-&-Tourism–certified Greek cuisine built on local, seasonal, PDO Cretan produce. 20 years as Piato; 45 years of family roots in hospitality. Bilingual site (English, Ελληνικά).

Piato serves dinner daily 18:00–23:30 (last food order 23:00) in a restored 1886 building with a hidden garden and a balcony overlooking the sea and Lake Voulismeni at sunset. Reservations are recommended, especially in peak season (Apr–Oct, peak Jul–Sep). Signature experiences: the "Secret Cellar" — a WWII-era underground cellar holding a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list — and ELIXIRIUM, Piato's own award-winning extra-virgin olive oil, plus an in-house new-wave artisanal bakery.
